SOPHIE

Sophie is a member of the AMELIA family. Keith Melbourne designed the ‘AMELIA family’ under a very simple design philosophy. “Create pieces that are both pleasing to use and easy to manufacture”. He started out by playing with the CNC foam cutter letting the machine dictate the shape. This enabled its complex form to be cut from a single solid piece with precision while minimizing the waste. The result was a selection of beautiful, functional and cost-effective design pieces that can be extended to an entire collection.

The collection includes a single chair, armchair, 2-seater, ottoman, coffee table and side table.
