Sam Haughton

Sam Haughton, an inspired and self-taught designer, opened his first furniture design and manufacturing workshop in 1992. Sam is currently director and creative designer with furniture design firm IMO. has been designing furniture for the Australasian market throughout the last twenty years. He creates products that meet everyday practicalities whilst retaining necessary links with the Industrial scene. His design style combines aesthetic appeal with customer needs, and strives to maximize cost-effectiveness. He is known for his highly regarded products the Ellington lounge and the Armstrong lounge designed for WOODMARK.
